BACKGROUND

In addition to teaching duties, I serve as director of certification/licensure. I work with pre-service teachers from entry-level courses through student teaching. I came to the position with background as a Lutheran school principal and teacher. Related experience includes a term on the Department of Public Instruction’s Professional Standards Council, numerous accreditation teams, and a workgroup developing growth and evaluation materials teachers in Lutheran schools. When not working with teachers and future teachers, favorite activities include travel, grandchildren, and “Storming the Bastille” each summer in Milwaukee.
